Wench Corset

This is the most revised, most refined, and longest-lived corset pattern in my shop! I've poured countless hours into designing, sewing, prototyping, and real-life market testing to create a simple, timeless underbust corset that flatters an incredible variety of body shapes. It's one of my favorite layering pieces, looks just as beautiful with Renaissance clothing as it does with everyday "muggle" outfits, and is built to be a wardrobe staple you'll reach for again and again.

Every Damsel corset is handcrafted using rounded, rubber-dipped ¼" fiberglass front busk boning, premium European spring steel boning, marine upholstery thread, military-grade double-sided grommets, and reinforced upholstery-strength seam construction. I wanted these corsets to be beautiful enough to treasure and sturdy enough to last for years of adventures.

Choosing Your Size

Our corsets are sized as a range because they're designed to allow for a small lacing gap. When we measure a corset, we pull it completely closed and measure the smallest part of the waist.

For example, a corset listed as 31–33" actually measures 31" fully closed. The additional two inches allow for a comfortable lacing gap.

How to Measure

Using a soft measuring tape, measure the smallest part of your waist (usually just above your belly button). Pull the tape snug—we're measuring how much your natural waist comfortably compresses.

For reference, my waist measures a snug 28". A 28–30" corset closes completely on me, but I usually wear a 26–28" corset when modeling because I like a little extra reduction.
