Boning Options
Every Hooded Vixen includes our signature fiberglass front support rods along with rigid European spring steel and extra back boning already included.
If you love an extra-firm, tightly corseted feel and perfectly smooth fabric across the front, we also offer additional front boning as an upgrade. It's what I personally add to all of my own corsets because I absolutely love the extra structure. We don't include it as standard simply because not everyone wants that much boning, and we like keeping the base price as affordable as possible.
Measuring
Measure your high waist (usually the narrowest part of your torso or just above your belly button). Pull the measuring tape snug so you can account for your own natural "squish."
If you know you have a particularly full bust or fuller hips, I usually recommend adding about an inch to that snug measurement. We want everything to fit beautifully—not just your waist!
Understanding Our Size Ranges
Our corsets are listed in waist ranges, not exact body measurements.
For example, a corset labeled 35–37" actually measures 35 inches when fully closed. If your waist measures 36" or 37", you'll simply wear it with a small lacing gap in the back—which is exactly how these corsets are designed to be worn. That adjustable lacing lets you customize the fit while creating a gorgeous hourglass silhouette.
