NOTE! Most of these pieces have the 10 inch front fiberglass rods of the petite length coats, but the size 31 and 34 somehow ended up getting sewn and grommeted with the 12 inch rods in the front. That means the neckline sits a little higher and there is one more grommet up top than the others, BUT the length and the fit and curve of the waist are still the same! That's why these are such a bleeping good price!

The Tailed Courtier Corseted Coat combines the structure of a true corset with the drama of a pirate’s coat, creating a regal silhouette that turns heads from every angle.

The design features a romantic sweetheart neckline paired with a dashing little collar that can be worn folded down or flipped up for extra theatrical flair. The sweetheart shape curves beautifully across the bust, accommodating many different bust sizes and shapes while maintaining a flattering line.

This piece is fully corseted and highly supportive, with fiberglass rod boning beginning at the center base between the breasts (similar to where a bra band sits). The front closure uses 12" fiberglass rod busks, and the garment is boned in nine places total with sturdy steel boning for structure. Along the side back, slightly more flexible boning provides support while allowing comfortable movement without pinching.

The coat itself sweeps dramatically into split tails that begin around the mid-hip in the front, curving downward and finishing in a split back just below the knees. The result is a silhouette that feels equal parts noble courtier and fearless pirate captain.

Sizing Guide

When measuring, measure your high waist — usually just above the belly button or at the smallest part of your torso. Pull the measuring tape as snug as possible to get a sense of how much natural “squish” your body has.

If you know you are more generously proportioned in the bust or hips, we recommend adding an inch to your squeezed-tight measurement so everything fits comfortably.

Our corsets are sized in ranges. For example, if a corset is listed as fitting a 35–37" waist, the corset itself measures 35" when pulled taut. If your waist measures 36" or 37", you can still wear it — it will simply have a small gap in the back lacing.
