!Note! This fabric was really thick and we are still adjusting some settings on our back up grommet press after the last one gave us the finger. There are a few of these where the edge of the fabric got the TINIEST clip in it when the grommet was set. It only happened on ONE edge, and the fabric underneath is in the reinforced area, so it won't fray. The ribbon will lace right over it, and it's completely structurally sound. However, it means there are a few "As is" items in this batch. yay! :/
Artemis Corset
Inspired by a glorious huntress stringing her bow beneath ancient forest boughs, the Artemis Corset is designed for movement, adventure, and all-day comfort. Whether you're stalking mythical beasts, wandering a renaissance faire, or simply conquering your daily quest list, Artemis brings the dramatic silhouette of a corset with the ease of a vest.
Built from the foundation of our beloved Cropped Vixen Corset, the Artemis features two elegant points in the front and a dramatic elongated point in the back, creating the longest-length silhouette we currently offer. Despite its striking shape, Artemis is also one of the most comfortable designs in our collection.
Unlike a traditional corset with long rigid front bones, Artemis uses 4" fiberglass rods in the front that generally reach the bottom of most wearers' rib cages. The boning then gently tapers downward to 7" bones at the sides and back, providing enough structure to maintain its beautiful shape while allowing significantly more flexibility through the torso.
The result is a corset-inspired vest that moves with you throughout the day. Artemis is especially wonderful for those who bend frequently, prefer less back support, or experience sensitivity and chronic pain that can make traditional corsets uncomfortable.
As with our other corsets, Artemis is sized by corset measurement. If your primary goal is maximum comfort and ease of movement, we recommend sizing up.
Pair it with leggings, flowing skirts, trousers, or layered over dresses for a look worthy of the goddess of the hunt herself.
