Medieval Gown HEM ALTERATION- To Make it Shorter
These gowns have a huge and beautiful full skirt that is very rounded in the hemline shape to give it that flare. They are 61" long from shoulder seam straight down to the hem, and if that's too long for you, we can hem them! However, this process is much more lengthy and tricky with how the skirt portion is shaped!
Measure yourself from top of shoulder down to where you would want the gown to be. Remember that if we DO hem these, it will take out some of the fullness and shape of the skirt. Also, keep in mind that if it's going to drag just a little bit, this fabric is sturdy drapery that can literally be thrown in the wash on a cold cycle. Medieval gowns look the best when they have a little bit of train.
